You have been tasked with the impossible: find a way to entice your customers to buy your food products, simply by appealing to one of their senses.
Until we figure out how to send free samples through a computer screen, that sense is SIGHT.
The internet is a busy place nowadays. People don’t pay attention to content unless there’s an eye catching photograph to draw them in.
And to make your job that much harder, customers are getting bombarded with thousands of images everyday. Between Pinterest and Tumblr, Facebook and Snapchat (and I almost forgot Instagram!) we’re on image overload!
Which means you need to make sure your brand visuals look SO delicious and irresistible that they don’t get lost in all the noise.
You want to attract the right customers with beautiful, professional photography. And you want to do it on the budget you can afford, with the timeline you have.
That’s where I come in! (Hi! I’m Katie Webster.) You can take a peek at my portfolio right here.
The short story? While working in the test kitchen at EatingWell magazine, the directors quickly realized that my artistic side was too excellent to ignore. So I became their go-to food and prop stylist for almost 10 years. Couple that with my degree in photography and another 9+ years of shooting for my food blog, clients (and cookbook!) and, well, you get the picture!
But my work is about more than creating pretty pictures. I create pretty pictures with purpose.
Your photos must be more visually stunning. They must communicate your brand and tell a story. That’s how your customers become emotionally invested in your products.
My style of photography does just that. I create a little scene and weave your product into it. Your customers will experience the joy of using your product, just by looking at one photo.
That’s how you’ll become an integral part of not just your customer’s palates, but their lives.
It’s time to say goodbye to cheesy, unspecific stock photos, and hello to gorgeous, affordable images that are perfect for you.
My photography packages are completely customizable to fit with any business need or budget.
Please keep in mind that I am only available for location photo shoots in the Vermont area at this time.
With every package you’ll receive:
A FREE PHONE CONSULTATION to go over your business’s needs and goals. We’ll discuss the scope of the project, your budget constraints and I’ll whip up a proposal that’s perfect for you.
SET AND SCENE CONCEPTS that are customized to your brand and convey the story and lifestyle of your favorite customers. These will visually anchor the feeling of your brand and product and ensure that your photos set the correct tone.
COMPLETE STYLING on the shooting day so that every shot is picture perfect. You’ll have the option of working with me, and/or hiring an additional stylist. I’ll walk you through the options and help you choose and schedule the talent you need.
PROP HANDLING for any added components you’ll need to complete the scene we’ve discussed. In this regard, I will act as the art director for your photo shoot and make sure each element that makes an appearance in your photo is cleared, consistent, and creatively aligned.
A FULL DAY (or half day) PHOTO SHOOT where you’ll get multiple angles and compositions that are optimized for online and social media use. I will make sure we cover your product in the most appealing, appetizing, and beautiful way while also keeping your big picture marketing goals in mind.
A DROPBOX FOLDER of both high res and lower res copies of your photos so you’ll be able to access them at your own ease and discretion for all of your needs.
All you’re missing is the kitchen sink!*
*But if you’d like to make sure we see one in your photo package, that can be arranged.
